"Snow fights" is what people generally indulge in here before they sledge back down. Chandanwari, situated 16-km fromPahalgam, is famous for snow sledging on a snow bridge. Chandanwari is also known for its natural attractions. It has some of thebest picnic spots and is reachable by road. Betaab Valley, earlier known as Hagan Valley or Hagoon, got its present name after the blockbuster Bollywoodmovie 'Betaab' was shot there in 1983.
